It was Delta Airlines, but from Las Vegas I had to take a Virgin Atlantic flight to Atlanta, USA. From Atlanta, I flew to Heathrow Airport in London, and then on to New Delhi, India. I’m not sure if the whole journey was supposed to take 20, 30 hours, or even more than that.

Before I was allowed to board the airplane, I had to take a COVID test within 72 hours, and the result had to be negative. I also had to fill out an online self-declaration form required by the Indian government. Normally, I used to fill out that form on the plane before landing—but this time, I wasn’t aware of any of it.
When I bought my ticket, it clearly said that if you were fully vaccinated, nothing else was required. So I had no idea about the online self-declaration form.
Since I booked my ticket through Delta Airlines, I arrived at Las Vegas International Airport Terminal 1 by cab, carrying at least 32 kilograms of luggage. And as I wrote before even my check-in bag was heavy. But when I reached the Delta check-in counter, they told me my flight was actually departing from Terminal 3.
How far is Terminal 3? I think they said five miles—and told me to take a shuttle bus from downstairs. That meant I had to carry all 32 kilograms of luggage with me. I was furious. I’d already been dealing with all kinds of problems since October 2020 while living in one of the most developed countries in the world—the USA.
One day, my landlord sent three people to the apartment—two of them were armed—to put a lock on the door. This happened even though I was paying my rent. After one year, I was moved to a monthly lease where I paid an extra $100 each month, simply because I chose not to sign a yearly lease and pay all the rent in advance. Therefore, they may thought I ranout of money, so put a lock on the door even during COVID. Anyway, I told them.
“Hello? I paid my rent,” I said.
“Yeah, but this month you’re late.”
“I’m late because your office was closed due to COVID, and I wasn’t able to pay online.”
“What? You should’ve gone to Walmart and deposited the check!”
“I thought you closed the office to stay safe. So, shouldn’t it be unsafe for me to go out in public too?”
“Okay… do you have a check?”
“Yes. Take it.”
“Alright, now go away.” I mumbeld, you f******B*******.
Meanwhile, during COVID, multiple plumbers came in to fix a persistent water leakage issue. The plumbing was so poorly done, I started wondering whether something dangerous—maybe even a biological weapon—was mixed with the leaking water. On top of that, my passport was expired, and the process to renew it during the pandemic was a nightmare. I couldn’t publish or edit my website, and I never received any COVID relief money from the U.S. government either.
I had to go out repeatedly during COVID—risking my health—just to get all the documents prepared and notarized for the passport renewal. All of this went on for over a year…a year filled with stress, fear, and frustration.
And this happened in a country considered one of the most advanced in the world—technologically and otherwise—with a population of only 333 million. Still, I had to deal with all kinds of nonsense. By March 2021, my website www.nandverma.com was actually ready to start making money—but all these issues held me back. What? I said, something sounds fishy to me? Like what? I am thinking why someone may want you dead if you are not worth in billions and trillions USD. Hello, since I am living in India, nothing much changed.
Finally, I arrived at Terminal 3 of Las Vegas International Airport, after dragging, loading, and unloading nearly 32 kilograms of luggage packed in two suitcases—plus another 6 to 7 kilograms in a shoulder bag. I was wearing heavy winter clothes, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I was practically soaked in sweat from head to toe, and it wasn’t until I reached Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India that I could catch my breath.
At Las Vegas Airport, I had arrived at Terminal 3 via shuttle bus from Terminal 1. I showed my ticket to a couple of staff members at Terminal 3 and asked where I should check in. “Go back to Terminal 1,” they said. I couldn’t help but mumble, “Hello, you idiots… someone just sent me from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3!”
Finally with the help of a Lady I found that instead of Delta Airline I have to take Vergin Atlantic Airline from Las Vegas to Atlanta USA. And she pointed towards a counter of Atlantic Virgin Airline at Terminal 3. Now, stand in that line… keep dragging your luggage… nearly 40 kilograms… plus winter wear on… in the middle of December in Las Vegas USA. Yeah, I was boiling while socked in sweat from head to toe.

After reaching the Virgin Atlantic counter, a gentleman asked me for my COVID test report. I showed him my vaccination certificate. He said, “No, no, the rules have changed. Now we need a COVID test taken within the last 72 hours.” But no one had informed me about this sudden change. “Yeah,” he added, “that’s how it is today.” “Really?” “Yeah, you heard that right. Otherwise, there’s no way we can let you board the flight.”
So I asked, “What are my options now?” He said there was a COVID testing clinic at the airport, and I should go there and get tested. That moment, I realized—not all Americans with the gins are crazy, but some of them freak out for a reason. I mean gentleman was just flollowing the instruction, so it was not his fault.
I then asked him about my luggage, because there was no way I could keep dragging nearly 40 kilograms around while chasing down a COVID test. He offered to check my luggage in, and I agreed—there was no other choice. That left me with just a 6–7 kilogram shoulder bag.
I finally reached the clinic around 1 PM. I had to be back by 3 PM to board the flight. “Hello,” I said to the woman at the clinic counter, “I need to get tested for COVID and board my flight by 3:30 PM. How long will it take to get the report?”
“Do you have an appointment?”
“Heck no—I’d rather not go into the whole story.”
She checked and returned a few minutes later. “Congratulations,” she said. “You’re lucky—we can do it without an appointment.”
I thought, Yeah, I know how lucky I am…
“But how long will it take to get the test report?”
She said, “I can’t guarantee anything.”
Once again—no choice.
“How much is it?”
“About $100.”
“And we can’t take cash.”
I thought, Paying in cash isn’t illegal, but I kept quiet. She was just following orders. She told me to go downstairs to a machine where I could load $100 onto a card and return to pay.
So I did.
Thankfully, around 2 or 2:30 PM, I got my COVID test result—it was negative.
I was rushing to board my flight when I reached the boarding counter. A man there asked me for a self-declaration form along with my negative COVID report. I had given him the proof of negitive COVID report, and said I had no idea about self-declaration form where to fill it out or how to get any sort of confirmation. He told me, “Give me your phone—I’ll do it for you.” I said, “Fine.”
He asked me for some information and my vaccination certificate, which I handed over to him. He took a picture of the certificate, and within about five minutes, I thought we were all set. But things didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped. The form we filled out wasn’t going through on the Indian Government’s website. We needed a confirmation number sent to the email I had provided.
He kept trying again and again, but every attempt failed. Now there were just five minutes left before boarding. Finally, he gave up too.
I asked, “Now what should I do?”
They said, “Without confirmation, we can’t let you board the flight.”
I replied, “Are you kidding me?”
“No, we’re not,” they said firmly.
After that, things got heated. We argued, and they left me stranded at the airport. Yeah, Virgin Atlantic Airlines. Not sure if it was really ‘Virgin’ or just a little too much F**** up. Looking around, who is laughing? Hello, please be serious, because such things can happened to you too.
Then I asked, “Where’s my luggage?” He, gave me the address and told me “Collect it from here.” He gave me a dirty look, like he was saying, Alright B*****—nothing much I could do except leaving you behind at the Las Vegas Airport. They didn’t call me a B***** to my face, but the way they treated me, that’s exactly what it felt like. In that moment, I thought, I hope I don’t have to spend the next few—or even 21—years at this airport. Please, don’t laugh, because I came to know on the world wide web or on You Tube, one person spent 21 years of his life on the Airport because of some immigration problem.
Then I asked myself, “Now what are you going to do, Mr. Nand L Verma?” I started searching for someone in charge—anyone who helps passengers in such situations. I spotted a very muscular man nearby with some kind of ID badge hanging around his neck, indicating that he worked at the airport. I asked him if there was any help available for passengers like me, people left behind despite holding valid tickets.
He simply said, “No, you’re on your own. We can’t do anything about it, even if someone gets stuck like this during COVID.” So once again, I silently hummed to myself, Home of the brave and land of the free. Hello. Because when an airport is empty, it feels less like a travel hub and more like a hunting ground. You can sense suspicion in the air—some people working there might even wonder if you’re hanging around with bad intentions. That’s how it felt. I started thinking about how certain individuals in the U.S. government have made such a powerful country look weak and bad instead of people like me being proud while living in USA.
Especialy a country so vast, with only 333 million people to manage and feed, you’d expect better systems in place. Especially in situations like mine—stranded at an airport with a valid ticket but no support—you’d think a place like the U.S. would at least offer stranded passengers basic accomodation in a Hotel and food until they can board their flight. What? I said, because USA Government wnat to become India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Nepal to save some money instead of the USA. Because now being in such situation you (Mr. Nand Lal Verma) have to spend at least $200 USD for the night. Anyway, whatever you say.
Maybe that sounds dramatic. But when you’re left alone, hungry, confused, and treated like a problem rather than a person, it’s hard not to get angry.
After everything that had happened, I was extremely hungry. Hungry to the point where I could have eaten a whole large pizza with one liter Juice for sure. The past few days had been hectic—packing, cleaning out the apartment, getting clearance from the landlord while at the same time throwing at least $600 to $800 stuff in the garbage. In all that chaos, some people don’t even get a chance to sit down for a decent meal at home. And even if you’ve paid for everything, you still might get surprise bills after leaving the property. It’s exhausting.
So there I was at Las Vegas Airport, searching for vegetarian food. There weren’t many restaurants or food stalls nearby, and finding vegetarian options felt like hunting for treasure. Eventually, I settled for a vegetarian sandwich and a bottle of water. Honestly, it barely felt like I had eaten at all—but at least it was something. After that I had to figure out my next move. Usually when I travel, I keep my phone charger and laptop charger in my carry-on bag. But that day, I accidentally packed them into my checked luggage. My laptop was already dead, and my phone would probably shut off in another 15 or 30 minutes.
Time to find my luggage. It took me around three to four hours of wandering, asking, and waiting. Finally, I spotted my bags through a glass window in room at the airport—but the room was locked, and no one seemed to be around. Eventually, I saw a lady in an airport uniform. I either asked her or somehow found out that the room would open in the morning, probably around 8 AM. That was my only hope.

After realizing my laptop was already dead and my phone had maybe 15 minutes of life left, and I acn’t rechrge them because accidently I packed their chargers in the luggage locked in the room at the airport. I knew I had to move quickly. I couldn’t stay in the airport overnight—I had to find a motel and, somehow, a shop that sold phone chargers before everything closed down along the Las Vegas Strip.
With some help from taxi drivers, I finally reached a nearby motel. At reception, I was met by a few people—one man seemed to be from India, Bangladesh, or Pakistan, and another might’ve been from Nepal. The guy from Nepal told me a room would cost $65 for the night. I remembered seeing online that even big hotels sometimes offer rooms for just $25. But I had no time to wander or bargain.
I handed over $65 in cash, thinking I was good to go. But the receptionist said, “We don’t take cash.” What?! I even offered $100 as a security deposit just to get things moving. “No,” he said again. Things felt tense. Fortunately, after a bit more talking, he agreed to let me stay for one night only and accepted the cash. I then spent half an hour walking around the building in the dim evening light, trying to locate my room. Totally socked in a sweat and very, bery tired. Found the room, tossed my bag inside—and no time to rest. I was still on a mission: get a phone charger before all the shops on Las Vegas strip are closed. Yeah, such things also happen in USA too. Some businesses don’t take $100, $50s bills, some takes only cash and some don’t take cash. I felt USA is one of the most chaotic country in the world, because not having at least few of the laws those should applies through out the country on everyone. So, it is like in hindi thay say “Apani apni dafulee and apna apna raag” What? I said, you should have start singing one of the hindi song” Dafli walai dufli baza” Hello but I was in a kind of situation like someone wrote the following sher in hindi and Urdu ” Kya likhun ishq kai takhat per, kayonkee kalam haath main hai aurt dawat kothai per” Because dafli (kind of musical instrument) is playing somewhere third or forth floor on the strip in a live musical show but I have to be on the street looking for a charger. Looking around, who is laughing? Please be serious. Anyway.
I headed straight toward the Las Vegas Strip, exhausted still socked in a swaet but determined. Feeling bad, sad, or panicked wasn’t an option. Losing control meant losing the battle. And letting the situation defeat me? No way—I refused to give it that power. After wandering for almost an hour, I finally found a shop selling the phone charger I needed. Some relief for sure. Because after having a charger it was possible to talk to someone of the phone to get in to the plane tomorrow for sure. Because without charger, phone become worthless, no updates and no flight.
Now since I left my rented residence in Las Vegas, I was forced to spent approximately $500 to $600 more, even though the one-way flight ticket to India had cost me less than $700. That made me reflect—perhaps democratic capitalism is turning into one of the greatest evils on Earth. What? Despite nearly 250 years of independence, the United States is projected to have a national debt of $38 trillion by 2025. Alongside this financial burden, there’s ongoing chaos in key areas like immigration policy and healthcare insurance. It’s striking, considering the country only needs to manage and support around 333 million people—and has access to nearly every resource imaginable.
Anyway, after returning to my motel room, I plugged my phone into the charger and started calling some lawyers in the U.S., while also speaking to someone from Delta Airlines. A representative from Delta asked me to stay on hold for an hour and a half to speak with the next available agent. First I thought it was a joke or someone taking some kind of revange by putting me on hold for one and half hour. Well, I didn’t have much choice. Eventually, after waiting the full hour and a half, someone came on the line, and I explained the situation to her. She confirmed my ticket for the same flight at 3:30 PM the next day. However, she told me there wasn’t much she could do regarding the self-declaration form—it was mandatory by the Indian government, and I’d have to fill it out online to receive confirmation. By then, it was probably around midnight or later. I’d had enough for one day, so I went to bed. Hello, I can start working on a website after reaching in India. And that is the reason I am writing these all in here.
The next morning, after checking out of the motel, I returned to Las Vegas Airport and waited in front of the locked room where my luggage was stored. Through the glass window, I could see my suitcases inside. Around 8:30 AM, someone finally arrived to open the room, and I got my two suitcases back.
While waiting, I kept trying to figure out why the self-declaration form wasn’t submitting properly on the Indian government’s website. Eventually, I realized that the picture I had taken of the COVID clearance certificate with my phone camera should not exceed 1 MB in size. However, if the camera has high resolution, the size of the pictures will definitely exceed 1 MB.
Ideally, in such cases, the website should be able to resize the picture automatically, or the phone should have a function that resizes the image without cropping any part of it. But to resize the picture in a phone I had to find that self decleration form is not going through because of Picture’s size exceeded more then 1 MB. After finding the cause of the problem, first I thought it was my mistake because I didn’t know how to resize pictures on a phone, but I couldn’t find any feature that allowed me to do so. Unfortunately, I had to figure this out by myself too maybe hard way. Because, by now, I was familiar with how—even among what they call some of the “brilliant minds” in the world—many things are overlooked or not fully thought through as a whole concept when designing hardware or software. Sometimes, this makes me question not only the so-called brilliance attributed to certain individuals, but also whether there might be unethical or even illegal practices involved in the way some businesses operate. Which at least I consider evil instead of vision of some of the brilliant minds.
Anyway, I first tried to resize the image on my phone, but instead of resizing, it cropped the COVID test certificate. I really hope that’s not considered acceptable, because there’s a clear difference between cropping and resizing an image. Before this experience, I had mostly used my phone just for making and receiving calls, or occasionally checking a website—www.nandverma.com—to see how it appeared on mobile. Eventually, I managed to download an app to resize the picture, but it ended up doing the same thing: cropping instead of resizing.
I couldn’t help but think that whoever designed the Indian government’s website shouldn’t be so careless as to leave out an automatic image resizing feature, especially when the document upload size is strictly limited to 1 MB. Besides that, I couldn’t find any resizing function on my phone either. Still, I wondered if maybe I just didn’t know how to find it—because surely the people who design phones and photo apps understand the difference between resizing and cropping an image.
Because of this problem despite many attempts, I kept failing to submit the self-declaration form on the Indian government’s website because the photo of my COVID certificate was too large. And if the image doesn’t go through, I don’t receive the confirmation email with the reference number—which means I can’t board the flight.
To be honest, I hadn’t even opened an email on my phone before this, because using the Desktops and Laptops by having more options to do almost everything. So, I didn’t use my phone other than making calls and occasionally browsing www.nandverma.com as well as taking pictures. Therefore, for some reason I’ve always disliked using phones except when it comes to taking pictures and making videos, and of course making and receiving phone call. And, since I live in India, I do use my phone for USB tethering as well as I think since July 2025 I also learned how wirelessly getting my phone connacted to the Laptop to have an Internet access for my Laptop. Otherwise, I wasn’t even aware of tethering until around 2019, when a coworker showed me how to wirelessly connect his phone to provide me internet access for a couple of minutes.
So, one more time back to Airport and boarding area with my luggage to board a flight, but the same problem related to submitting self-declaration forum on Indian Government’s website remain intact. But this time after struggling for a longtime, 2 Females at the Airline counter by using theirs and my Phone, finally was successful to submit a declaration forum of mine online to Indian Government. And I got an E-Mail with the conformation Number or whatever. But by that time, I think only 25 Minutes were left to board a flight. It means we all 3 spent like 2 hours.

Anyway, somehow, I managed to board a flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta, USA. After landing in Atlanta, I had only 30 minutes to catch my connecting flight to Heathrow Airport in London. In that short window, I had to find and board the right train that runs inside the airport to reach my terminal—about 10 miles away. Are you kidding me?
Atlanta Airport covers around 19 square kilometers. For comparison, Manhattan in New York stretches 13.4 miles (21.6 km) from north to south and is 2.3 miles (3.7 km) wide, with nearly 1.7 million people living there. So while walking for 5 to 10 minutes through Atlanta Airport, carrying my bag and trying to find the entrance to the train, I kept thinking, I hope I take the train in the right direction and don’t miss my stop. Otherwise, I’d miss my connecting flight.
Luckily, I got on the right train and reached the correct terminal just in time. Then again—stand in line. Although my carry-on bag weighed less than 7 kilograms and wasn’t too heavy, but still for some reason my shoulder was still giving up. Dragging a bag without wheels or placing it on the airport floor comes with risks—you never know what thousands of people have stepped in with their shoes. Especially during a time when COVID hadn’t fully disappeared.
I think there was another round of COVID testing before boarding the flight. And then came Heathrow Airport in London, after more than eight hours in the air. After landing, I had to reach the terminal for my flight to New Delhi, India. Oh my, oh my—not only was there a long line, but carry-on bags were being checked again for security reasons.
I couldn’t help but think: Maybe some of the people in charge of the countries on Earth are good at creating situations that require more security checks and more money to be spent. Is that the only way to create and maintain jobs? Something felt not only off to me but I felt strogly that so far either evils, mafia mentality or some of the dumbest people were in charge of mamaging the world. Because ccording to my calculations and observations, something was definitely very wrong. Who were and are these people managing the world and people in it? I started thinking maybe even the so-called “white people in charge” were out of ideas, totally dumb, not that wise or selfish.
Anyway, no choice but to comply. At Heathrow Airport in London I saw perfumes, boot polish, toothpaste, and all kinds of liquids being pulled out of people’s bags. Hey, spend more money in India on these products we just took from your bags at the airport. I had something in my bag from Atlanta to Heathrow, but at Heathrow, they took it out—Not allowed. I was thinking hello, but untill here it was allowed and even got considered not dangerious. Looks like now even British people and their government are only good in whatever. Then, before boarding the flight to New Delhi from Heathrow Airport, a staff member used a temperature gun on my wrist—three times. Something didn’t seem right. I said, “ Put it on my forehead,” even though sweat was dripping down. She did put on my forehead, and everything registered fine. “Alright, please go,” she said. Just two minutes left. As I walked away, I couldn’t help but think: I can almost see the person in my mind behind the scenes, remotely controlling that temperature gun. I just hoped that wasn’t the case with airplanes too. Everyone seemed nervous—except me. But I was thinking, don’t worry too much, because after death, maybe many people end up in heaven. So what the hell? Or after the death people will born again in a time when COVID is over. So take as many precautions as you can afford, but don’t live in fear of death. Looking around—who’s laughing? Yeah, I’m laughing. After death, you (Mr. Nand L. Verma) definitely ended up in that part of heaven where 72 whorays (heavenly looking young and beautiful Females in heave) are waiting for you. What more could an old man like me ask for? Besides, everything else in heaven is free. But if in Hindu heaven, instead of 72, I get at least 700, then I prefer to end up in Hindu heaven. What? I said, I hope these 2 heavens are at an unreachable distance; otherwise, if the border is like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, then everyone knows the truth. I think you are right. But in that case, what can happen if someone dies in wars and conflicts? What? I said, You are not born again. Finished, finito. Alright, whatever you say.
Anyway, after almost 9 hours of flying from Heathrow Airport, I finally lande, I think at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. I don’t want to sound rude, but as soon as I stepped out of the airplane, I was hit with a rather gloomy feeling. I’m still trying to figure out whether it was because of the way that part of the airport was built. By that time I felt like half dead because of feeling very, very tired, but still I walked nearly half a kilometer before realizing that to reach the foreign currency exchange counter, I’d have to walk all the way back—about another half a kilometer—and pass through some security checks, accompanied by two young men. Eventually, I made it to the counter. I was trying to exchange $100 USD for Indian rupees, but the person at the counter, who seemed just as fed up as I was, said, “Just give me $50 USD” if you want more take it after getiing out from immigration clearnce. I said, fine, I thought, and handed $50 USD to him.
Before that, I found out I had to get tested one more time for COVID as well while at the Airport in India. And if after getting tested report is not negitive, I have to stay at the Airport or in the hospital. So, if someone wants the results within an hour, they have to pay around ₹2000. Even under such situation and circumstances there’s really no other option but to keep spending money—even if you haven’t earned any in the past two years. Yeah, by that time, I may have spent more money than I did on the flight ticket itself. And yet I was very far from the final destination. Still, it was a long way to go to reach the village, and at the same time, farmers were blocking the roads. In that case, taking a bus didn’t seem safe. I had already told everyone in the village not to come pick me up. But before anything else, I had to wait for my negative COVID report—otherwise, I wasn’t sure where I’d end up if I got infected along the way.
I felt bad for the men working at the COVID results counter, and also for the passengers who were literally shouting, arguing, and pushing each other to get their reports. Some of them probably had flights to catch too. So yes, in New Delhi, India, at the airport—there was chaos everywhere. Finally, someone at the counter called my name. I took my COVID report—it was negative. That made it three times negative, from Las Vegas to New Delhi. Now it was time to approach the immigration clearance counter. Even though there were maybe 25 to 30 counters, there were still around 5,000 to 8,000 people standing in lines trying to get out of the airport. I chose a line too, and after about half an hour, I was out and collecting my luggage. Finally, I exited the airport without any major hassle. But outside, it was terrifying—the smog or whatever it was made visibility almost zero.
With no other option, I took a taxi. By the time I reached the village, I had spent nearly ₹17,000 traveling from New Delhi International Airport. That’s double what I paid 20 years ago—in 2001, I remember spending only ₹8000.
But as in December 2021, farmers were still blocking the roads therefore, for a while, the taxi driver drove through several villages on dirt roads and muddy paths for over an hour before getting back on the highway. Even then, there was a traffic jam on the village road. At one point, the taxi driver had to turn back and find a new route because a heavily loaded truck had gotten stuck in the mud. All of this meant more fuel consumption—imported fuel, for which the Indian government still has to pay in U.S. dollars.

Looking around—who’s laughing? Hello, let’s be serious. If I’m not mistaken, in 1990 India’s foreign reserves were almost on the verge of becoming zero. That meant no petrol, no diesel, and no other kind of fuel to burn. And by now, everyone knows what can happen to a country and its citizens when exporters refuse to accept Indian rupees—because they see the country and its people as worthless.
Yes, it’s a bitter truth. The reality of the world is harsh—it runs on perception, power, and economic value. That’s how nations and their citizens are judged. When a country is bankrupt, nothing works. Nothing impresses anyone. In such times, no amount of diplomacy or promises can substitute for hard currency, resources, or credibility.

I either forgot to write on this part of the website, or something went missing, or something happened regarding after finding the validity of my Green Card at the beginning of 2021 while I was living in the USA. I want to explain about that too to let you know, how all my problems seemed to come together at once during COVID, even if I was not infected with the COVID it self.
I believe my Green Card was set to expire in September 2021, so I needed to renew it. However, after the age of 62, legal requirements for staying in the USA for work or other reasons should not apply. Besides, if Social Security benefits in old age are less than $1,500 a month without any other income, many elderly people may be forced to live on the streets. As everyone knows, not many employers hire older individuals. In fact, for many jobs, “old age” can begin as early as 45—even if that’s illegal. But at the same time, for example, if someone is making a movie and needs to cast a college student, the casting director or whoever is in charge cannot realistically hire a woman who is 45 or 50 years old for that role—unless she genuinely looks 18. But everyone knows it’s nearly impossible to look 18 at the age of 45 or 50.

So, one day, while living in Las Vegas during COVID, I took a bus from my residence to the U.S. immigration office to get my Green Card renewed. Unfortunately, as is common in many places across the USA, two or three security guards with guns—either revolvers or pistols—were standing outside the entrance. I approached one of them while simultaneously trying to open the entrance door. He stopped me and asked, “Do you have an appointment?” I said no, because the last time I renewed my Green Card, I had simply walked into the immigration office. After I presented my Green Card, they took my fingerprints, photo and reneweal fee, and told me I would receive the renewed card within a month at the address I had provided. The security guard—or perhaps one of the immigration employees—replied, “If you want to walk into an immigration office without an appointment, you’ll need to go to either the office in Denver, Colorado, or Los Angeles, California. Otherwise, here you must apply online. No walk-ins are allowed.” I had no choice but to return to my residence and apply online. Traveling to Colorado or Los Angeles during COVID felt too risky.

Meanwhile, during COVID, when even in the USA people were waiting in long lines just to get a meal, I had to spend all this money from my own pocket without receiving any COVID financial help from the U.S. government. I started to wonder whether my calls were even reaching the right people—or if, somehow, they were being redirected to the wrong ones.
On top of that, during COVID, I received a notice from a court saying I owed someone around $1,400. As a result, they withdrew $3,000 or $4,000 from my bank account, promising to refund the remaining amount after settling the debt. I asked them, “Why didn’t you inform me earlier? Why are you coming after me 10 or 12 years later?”
What? I said, seems like for some reason some people wanted you to end up dead on the streets of Las Vegas during COVID. You’re right to think that. Anyway, in December 2021, I landed in India. Since then, my expired Green Card was automatically considered valid—until April 2024, when U.S. immigration renewed it and sent it to my old Las Vegas address. Hello? In immigration online account, I had already left a note with immigration, asking them not to mail anything to Las Vegas address, and I had provided my current address in India. And while in India I came to know, U.S. immigration doesn’t use email. So whenever I tried calling from India to sort out my Social Security situation, instead of reaching Baltimore, USA, my call somehow got routed to somewhere near New Zealand. Hello, on Social Security website it says their office is in Baltimore USA along with the contact number the when I called to talk to someone in Social Security office in USA. I spent ₹500 on calls—but no one even picked up the phone. So, I still have no idea where my renewed Green Card is, even though I paid $550 USD for the renewal. After leaving the USA, I did my best to keep paying the web hosting fees to keep my website—www.nandverma.com—online. But my card wasn’t updating properly, and after a few months, Verizon USA took the site down from the worldwide web. That was a major setback for me, especially in terms of the website’s ranking. I had spent 6 or 7 years building that up.
Still, while in India, I managed to save the domain name: nandverma.com But once the site went offline, its global ranking dropped back to zero. For anyone who owns and runs a website—especially one with a specific purpose—knowing the exact traffic and maintaining visibility is essential. Losing that is something no one can afford, in any sense.
Now it’s 2022, and I’m in India. I figured I shouldn’t have any problems, since Indians are known for being the best in software and tech. So I wasn’t too worried. I spoke to someone who told me everything could be done the way I wanted, except that folders wouldn’t be used to organize the pages inside the website builder. Still, they said it would be easy to manage. I thought, “That’s what everyone’s been telling me,” but so far nothing turned out to be easy—except whatever. I also spoke to some people in Shimla, not far from my village, who explained how the site could be rebuilt. I said, “Fine.” I hoped the website would be back online by February 2022. But I think in the middle of 2022 related to accomodation and other stuff problem with whom I considered family started to take place too. For which I wasn’t ready at all. Even if having approximeatly 19 small and large rooms on two floors plus attic.
Otherwise, related to website everyone genuinely tried their best, but in the end, I felt strongly that once again, I had to do almost everything myself—including figuring out how to manage and organize all the pages within the website builder, without the option to store them in folders. Otherwise, back when I was using Yahoo’s website builder, and later Aabaco, I might have been the first to create a folder system inside the builder to organise pages under specific folders for finding them quickly under each and every category. Yeah, someone at Yahoo actually wrote the code to make that happen. It was a game-changer for organizing content efficiently.
Now, working with WordPress, I needed a similar system—something that allows quick access to every page under its respective category. But without having a option to place pages category-wise in specific folders, it’s been a challenge to replicate that same level of organizing pages.
This became especially important because, in my case—and with the type of website I run—the page I’m looking for often doesn’t show up in the search within the website builder. For example, if I type “Videos,” it pulls up every single page with that word and sometime the page I am looking for doesn’t show up, regardless of relevance. I didn’t like that at all. Besides this sometimes, you don’t even know where that same page is actually running from. It’s like chasing shadows in your own creation—frustrating, confusing, and far from efficient.

Then came another nightmare—this time with the WordPress website builder. Although, while someone is viewing www.nandverma.com on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or even a folding phone, the menu or navigation bar stay in the same font I originally chose. The content on the pages should automatically adjust according to the screen size of the device as well. Back when I was using Yahoo or Aabaco, I managed to achieve this—but only by creating two separate versions of the website. That not only may have doubled the size of the site, but also meant a lot more copying and pasting.
But still or some reason, I’ve never liked dropdown menus, crowded sidebars, or anything that disappears on smaller screens—except the menu or navigation bar, which should remain visible and consistent across all devices except in case of smaller devices. So, after explaining to them that his is how I want to build the website, some developers wrote custom code for me to adjust the background, theme, and maximum width, along with the header and footer. That helped. Because even when I watch videos in full-screen mode on my 18″ laptop for just half an hour, my eyes start to feel uncomfortable. I’m not saying full-screen pages on large devices are wrong—it depends on the concept of the website. But watching videos on a 1-meter-wide screen or more then that while sitting just 1, 2, or 3 meters away? No, no, no—at least not good for the eyes of mine at all.
So while building the site in WordPress, I tried to keep everything on www.nandverma.com almost exactly as it was before. But then I ran into another problem: how do I keep all the pages related to a particular category grouped together—right after each other—in the WordPress dashboard? And if later,I want to add new pages, I should be able to place them in the same sequence after the last page, grouped by category. The website builder I used before (from Yahoo) allowed me to do that by placing pages in specific folders for quick access—but only after I asked them to make that possible. After that I had to number them in a particular way.
Yes, WordPress lets you search for pages using a search box, but for the concept of my website, but sometimes as I mentioned above it doesn’t work. Therefore, I need all the pages to appear in a required row, one after the other in each and every category, under “All Pages” in the dashboard. That way, I can find, see, add new page, manage and update them easily. Well, many months have passed, and I still haven’t figured out how to do that.
I knew from the start that without having a option to keep them in folders managing all these pages and categories manually—especially inside the WordPress dashboard under “All Pages”—wasn’t going to be easy. And it’s not just the pages. Managing all the advertisements manually, in the form of JPEG or JPG images that are meant to stay live 24/7 worldwide in particular size, adds another layer of complexity.
But as always, one day—or maybe late at night—an idea came to me. It was similar to the method I used when creating playlists of song videos, organizing them in a specific order under “Favorites,” and even applying that system to some of my offline work. But still, I wasn’t sure if the same approach would work for organizing website pages in WordPress the way I wanted. Most of the time, pages get automatically arranged alphabetically, by date, or by time. That can lead to problems—problems I simply can’t afford.
Sometimes, when you search for a page using the search box in deshboard, it either doesn’t show up or too many unrelated pages appear under the same category. So I thought, “Let’s try my own invention—or whatever you want to call it.” And if it works, I’ll still need to move a few pages around to make things easier for myself.
I’ve been working continuously for almost six years now to build my website and create all kinds of content for it. And in that case, in the future I’m not only able to manually change all the advertisements on the site within 5 to 8 hours without making any mistakes, but I can also find any page under a particular category—without even using the search box. Eventually, my idea worked. Now I can add at least 100,000 pages under a specific category, one after another, without getting lost. It took me almost a year just to bring the website—www.nandverma.com—back online. Because I had to rebuild and even resize everything from scratch, all over again. But finally in 2025 , foundation plus all the available contents should be enough to start with.

No, I’m just kidding—because in many ways, these young ladies not only maintain physical perfection from head to toe, but they’re also incredibly talented. And as everyone knows, after a certain age, until the last breath of life, having something perfect from head to toe as a physical asset is a dream for many earthly humans. So why not make some money—or at least a good living—by showcasing that physical asset on the worldwide web? Am I right?

What? I said—that’s why even in wordpress you built a whole website, customizing everything. Yeah, if I felt that way, I had to do it. And I did—while living in a village in District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, where I grew up.
So definitely, I didn’t grow up in Russia or Alaska. I mean, that is what I am aware of. Because when I lived in the USA, no one believed I was from India. Looking around… who’s laughing? Yeah, I am laughing, so if after birth someone kidnapped you or changed you in the hospital? Hello, not a movie story in here, please.
Just when I thought I was finally ready to relaunch www.nandverma.com—after rebuilding it from scratch yet again—I discovered that the web hosting plan (purchased by a third party and valid until December 2023) had run out of storage space. That caught me off guard. I had estimated the entire website would take up no more than approximately 3 GB. Even with all the HD videos uploaded—videos I legally don’t own but have rights to embed and making their playlists—the total size shouldn’t exceed more then 5 TB, which isn’t excessive by today’s standards. Especially considering the fact that high-resolution videos and audio files are the primary contributors to heavy storage usage on web hosting servers. These media files require significantly more space than text or images, which makes it all the more important to choose a hosting plan that can accommodate such content without limitations.
But hey, I had no choice. I either had to upgrade the existing hosting plan to get more storage or find a more affordable hosting provider that offers unlimited space along with so many other things, to avoid future hassles. After some deliberation, I decided to go with MilesWeb, an Indian web hosting company. Since 2007, I’ve had my fill of dealing with tech companies in the U.S.—not just individually, but as a whole. So, while I’m in India, I figured it’s time to give Indian companies a chance.
I found out that MilesWeb has around six or seven sub-hosting servers spread across different continents. That’s a plus for websites like mine, which may be accessed globally. Of course, most websites can be accessed from anywhere on Earth, but I’m still not entirely sure how the backend infrastructure affects performance.
But still if I am not wrong, it makes sense that if the server hosting www.nandverma.com is located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh or in Delhi instead of Phoenix, Arizona, USA then visitors from Himachal Pradesh—or anywhere in India—should experience faster access to the site and its pages. That’s assuming the infrastructure and equipment are up to date and running on the latest technologies.Otherwise, if the web hosting server is located overseas, the request to open www.nandverma.com might have to travel all the way from Shimla, India to Phoenix, Arizona—possibly through undersea internet cables. Sounds wild, right? But it’s true. Data often travels across continents through these massive cable networks.
Now, I’m still not entirely sure how 5G—or even faster internet technologies—work when it comes to transferring data from web servers via satellites or other systems to our devices here on Earth. But hey, don’t laugh! Sometimes when I watch live cam videos in full-screen HD or 4K on my 18-inch laptop, the video starts buffering—and 2 GB of data can vanish in just two hours. Therefore, if someone don’t have a unlimited Internet, you can reduce the video resolution to 460p, 360p, or lower. But if setting resolution lower then 460p or HD in bigger screen devices you might not even be able to recognize what’s happening in the video. So yes, resolution matters, and so does bandwidth.
Also, just to note: the domain nandverma.com (as of 02-04-2023) is in the process of being transferred from GoDaddy to MilesWeb, as shown in the screenshot. The domain hasn’t expired—it’s just in transition.

So hey—after paying MilesWeb to host www.nandverma.com for the next three years, I was all set to migrate the website from GoDaddy USA to MilesWeb India, headquartered in Nashik, Maharashtra. Mumbling to myself… yeah, not even in the center of the country. But hey, location is location.

Besides this, if web servers or data centers really need too much water to stay cool, maybe they should be built near a sea or lake. And if salty water isn’t usable, then web hosting companies and data centers should install desalination plants—like the ones used in submarines. Makes sense, right?
Otherwise, when it comes to building something in the middle of the country, instead of building more roads in a country like India—similar to how the USA and Europe developed their infrastructure 40, 50, 100, or even 200 years ago for populations ranging from 25 million to 300 million—a country like India, with a population nearing 1.5 billion, should focus on building at least 10 railway tracks in the middle of the country to run Maglev trains. Especially if these trains can reach speeds of 600 to 1000 km/h, they should operate along perfectly straight lines (and by “perfectly straight,” I mean absolutely straight) from the Jammu & Kashmir border to the beaches of Kanyakumari, and from the Pakistan-Rajasthan border to the Burma border. Ideally, these lines could even be built underground.
Around such a system, two massive cities could be developed from scratch—from one corner to another—using the latest technologies and infrastructure to provide every kind of modern facility. Just imagine: with only two lines, 1.5 billion people could be accommodated efficiently. Incredible, right? And the rest of the land could be used for everything else. Each city could be 3,000 km long and 10 to 20 km wide. And again, the remaining land could be utilized for other purposes.
Therefore, at least since 2015, the focus should not only be on transporting people quickly through ground transportation, but also on moving all kinds of goods rapidly—including essential food and beverages. Moreover, in most countries, it is inefficient to spend taxpayers’ money on upgrading villages, towns, and cities, as many of them cannot accommodate or operate the latest futuristic technologies and systems.

In this visionary project, every Earthly human needed to stay physically and mentally healthy—as well as access to essential education as required—is completely free. Even in old age this is one of the amazing things I discovered about myself—on my own—because of the camera in my phone, laptop, and software. Yeah, it’s a total surprise to me that—even as far back as I can remember—after dealing with all kinds of crap and 99% creepy people (I mean the way I felt), for some unknown reason, my physical appearance hasn’t deteriorated accordingly. What? I said, otherwise, even after wearing a digital wig now in old age instead of between the ages of 25 to 30, physically from head to toe, you (Mr. Nand L. Verma) should look like you are 100 years old. Yeah, you’re right.
Otherwise unfortunately, even in 2023, India continues to build roads similar to those in the USA and Europe—roads that those regions may have constructed 20, 50, or even 100 years ago for populations ranging from 20 to 300 million. And yes, trains still run on wheels.
Hello? It’s time to accept the truth: spending national and taxpayers’ money to improve the conditions of almost 90% to 95% existing infrastructure as well as villages, towns and cities in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and China may ultimately be a wasted effort. These all often cannot support or integrate the latest and futuristic technologies and systems.
Personally, after coming a citizen of Earth, I wouldn’t mind if every country on Earth decided to build a version of the Project for the World by Mr. Nand L. Verma. What? I said otherwise, almost all the Earthly people will keep living in the hope of reaching heaven after death—instead of experiencing a heavenly life while alive on Earth.
But if we create heaven on Earth through advanced systems and technologies, then it’s almost guaranteed that 99% of Earth’s humans will end up in heaven after death too. Why? Because even while on Earth to live a heavenly life by everyone— Earthly humans need food, goods, clean air, recycling, transportation, and manufacturing handled by automated machines and intelligent systems constructed by Earthly humans or whoever. Otherwise, believe me no matter what somsone says, in reality and truth still it is a all kinds of chaos and desaster.

So, since I think 21 January 2023 the web hosting for http://www.nandverma.com is with MilesWeb in India. As everyone knows, when you pay money in advance for something to use over a longer period, you often get a cheaper price. That’s because companies can invest your advance payment elsewhere to earn more—either through other businesses or by gaining 6% to 8% interest. And if they invest in the right company, even ₹10,000 (approximately $130 in 2023) could potentially grow into ₹1 million or even ₹10 million in three years. That’s why you often see lower prices when buying web hosting for 3 or 5 years upfront. What? I said, on the flip side, if the company goes bankrupt in 3 or 5 years, your product and money could be gone too. Yeah, that’s true. Seems like nothing in life comes without risk. Because even people die in their sleep, fall into comas, or suffer paralysis. That’s why everyone should be careful about the room, apartment, house, or building they live in—especially if they’re sharing it with others. Sometimes, people can be harmed in their sleep not just by naturally occurring odorless and deadly gases, but also due to foul play too.
Unfortunately, almost all humans on Earth seem to have some kind of visible or invisible enemies—or are prepared to take revenge. So, far that’s been one of the most tragic aspects and still exist. Therefore, sometimes—at least for me—believing everything about the history of earthly humans becomes a bit suspicious, especially considering how it was told and taught to me. Even in the age of the internet, some people with questionable morals will do anything for money, sex, or to acquire others’ assets. In fact, the digital age has made many things even more dangerous.
Even building, managing, maintaining, running and keeping safe any kind of website is not easy at all. As everyone knows, even writing or saying a few lines for free on websites owned, managed, and maintained by others can land people in serious trouble. That’s why I’m doing my best to stay out of trouble while running, managing, and maintaining my own website: www.nandverma.com. But at the same time, I must find a way to express my point of view—to correct or improve something—because I have a legal right to do so. And if I’m wrong about something, I should be corrected. After all, I don’t even hold an educational degree in any field. But when I see the chaos worldwide caused by degree holders, I don’t feel bad about not having one. By saying that I’m not discouraging anyone from pursuing education. In fact, right version of the education not only helps earthly humans overcome illiteracy, poverty, and struggle but also to be a right version of the human and humanity too. What? I said, otherwise in the time and era of the Internet and world wide we, almost everyone knows about the all kinds of crimes commited by educated and well educated as well. Yeah. And if, after earning all kinds of degrees, humans still resort to exploitation, deception, war, and dirty politics to succeed, then what’s the point of those degrees, inventions, and advancements? Especially if in the end, almost firectly or indirectly come down to a mafia mentality and its actions. Anyway.

After signing up with MilesWeb in India for web hosting, it was time to migrate my website. And once again, my doubts proved true—everything got messed up during the migration to MilesWeb’s server. Fortunately, using one of the backups from myntraitsolutions, the team at MilesWeb and I were able to successfully migrate my website, nandverma.com, to their main server located in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. Still, the migration process was far from smooth. Before that, I had already lost around 20 days’ worth of written material.
Honestly, if I had built the entire website offline using WordPress or another site builder, I wouldn’t have had to worry about losing anything. A local copy of the website would have been stored on my computer, and transferring it to an external drive—without needing the internet—would have been both faster and easier.
So, at least for me in some ways, technology has gotten worse instead of better. For example, when I was hosting with Yahoo, they used to automatically create daily backups of the website right in the control panel. But now, creating a backup of 4 GB or more using a 4G connection—at least in my case—may take up to 5 to 10 hours.
On the other hand, if the entire website is stored offline on your computer using a site builder, uploading it to a new hosting server by republishing it might take no more than 20 to 30 minutes. I’ve done that many times before—publishing a 3 to 4 GB website—to fix various issues quickly and efficiently.
But hey—finally, the website https://www.nandverma.com is up and running, hosted by MilesWeb in India. Yeah, one more time I had no choice but to customized the whole website.
I’m writing out the full website address intentionally. If the site opens on someone’s device with a different URL, it could mean that a copy of the website is being run by unauthorized individuals. Sadly, even after spending money on devices, internet, hardware, software—and despite having governments and agencies worldwide tasked with stopping cybercrime—it’s only getting more criminal. And when cybercrime happens, investigations can take years to catch the real perpetrators. What? I said and in many case by the time justice is served, the original owner of the content or website might not even be alive. Yes, because for some earthly humans, still taking someone’s life for $10, $20, $50, $100, or even $1,000 can be seen as entertainment. So imagine what happens when millions, billions, or trillions (after conversion in USD) are involved.
This becomes even more dangerous when most governments around the world are up to the neck in debt, financially strained or systemically dysfunctional. On top of that, if 80 to 95% of the global population—still falls in to the categories of living below the poverty line, the poor, working poor and the struggling middle class— and are desperate to get rich overnight. Meanwhile, the remaining 5 to 20 % of the wealthy either want to double their money or fiercely protect what they already have. Yeah… not exactly a recipe for peace.
Looking around—who’s laughing? It sounds like an organically born female. Yeah, even from your perfect nudes or illegally recorded videos, the mafia or criminals might be making more money than you ever will. Sadly, even the work of incredibly talented children and individuals has been stolen and exploited.
Please, stop participating in all of this—whether you’re trying to be a “ fake real man” or the so-called “right version” of humans and humanity. Otherwise, I’ve often felt strongly that AI very similar to humans may have existed for a long time already. So go ahead—make them commit all the fraud, crimes, and scams, and then throw them in jail.
Anyway… another chapter.
Now (in January 2023) as according to my best knowledge, minimum of everything in the form of contents and their pages was ready to have a website available and running on the world wide web everything got uploaded on the web hosting server at MilesWeb in India. And I hope as well as their sub-servers in other countries—and integrated with the WordPress website builder, my site https://www.nandverma.com was running smoothly. Since then I didn’t not face major issues when accessing, editing, updating, or adding new pages through the WordPress dashboard.
Still, I find WordPress more complicated for building a customized website like mine compared to the older Yahoo site builder I used back in 2007. Maybe I’m just not yet familiar with all the streamlined features WordPress offers. But at least for now, I don’t have to worry about running out of hosting resources.
On a different note—if you’re living in the U.S. and want to move to another city but can’t rent a place due to not having a job letter from a local employer, here’s a workaround: offer to pay 6 months or a full year’s rent upfront. Legally, the landlord may not have grounds to refuse renting to you after that. Because that is how I was able to rent a place in Las Vegas USA. Yeah, not easy to deal with even in a “land of the free” when it comes to practical realities. What? I said, especially even after 250 years, nothing is free. Yeah. So, still even in a country like USA it is all about money, money, money and money. Anyway, whatever.
The reason I’m writing all this here is to highlight how everything you’re doing—whether it’s building, managing, maintaining, or running a website—is deeply connected to broader life situations and circumstances. This is especially true when investor money isn’t involved and you’re trying to develop something on your own to earn income. Unlike certain types of websites that rely heavily on third-party services for income, such as displaying internet-based targeted advertisements, independent ventures face unique challenges.
Most governments and their systems are primarily focused on generating revenue through taxes, often without understanding the reality of how much hard work, strategic thinking, planning, money, and time someone invests to build a business to the point where they even become liable for income tax while competing with the world. What? I said that’s how difficult it is— to be a politcian and some of the government employees who remain in office and continue to get paid regardless of performance. Hey, just raise taxes on people—or slap massive tariffs on imported goods to sell the made in a country product, even if those products are some of the worst in the world and might actually make people sick as wel. Go ahead, add 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, or even 200% tariff. Looking around—who’s laughing? Yeah, I am. Because after seeing all these “tricks of the trade,” I’ve decided to run for office myself. Apparently, it’s easy: just raise taxes and tariffs and call it governance. Besides this once winning the election, after that if someone want to retire, enjoy the paention for life time as well as some of the other benifits too. So, after the age of 20, I am surely running for office.
What’s even more frustrating is that, despite all this, 80 to 90% of the population still falls into categories like below the poverty line, poor, working poor, or struggling middle class. And 90 to 95% of the country still looks like a slum. So, be careful before choosing your role models or blindly trusting someone—including most politicians.
And here’s the kicker: once you win an election, you can retire and enjoy a lifetime pension, plus a bunch of other perks. So, even if once winning the election, after that if someone wants to retire, enjoy the pension for a lifetime as well as some of the other benefits too. So, after the age of 20, I am surely running for office. Good for you. Seems to me like wise planning—retiring after the age of 24 or 25 with decent pention and may be some other benifits to for a life time. Mumbling… I wish I had known all these tricks of the trade when I was 16. Even they didn’t teach these all about polticians and their income in school at least to me. What? I said, when you were 16, 20, 25, 30, or even in your late 30s, the internet and the World Wide Web weren’t available to everyone the way they are in 2025. Nor were there digital vote-counting machines. Otherwise, in some cases, hackers might now help certain political candidates win elections too. Well, that could be true.
Well, I’m not encouraging anyone to become a politician or a government employee just to fill their own pockets or benefit financially. Because if someone is religious or spiritually believes in certain principles, being that kind of politician or government employee isn’t just unethical—it could be the biggest sin, even if legally they can’t be convicted. What? I said, in my country, to get rid of all the sins from the past year—or even since birth—all I have to do is take a dip in a holy river, sacred water or ask my god to wash all my sins. After that start doing sins again. I am not saying someon teach once you are free from all kinds of sins, start doing again, but that is how many crminals sees it. Looking around, who’s laughing? Please, be serious. Because in some countries, teaching and preaching this is totally legal. Anyway, I will try to explain the same more elaborately in a book titled Journey of Life: Volume 1 by Mr. Nand L. Verma.

Thinking about what else was related to https://www.nandverma.com before I decided to create it back in 2007? Yeah, what happened was—as I’ve written many times—being a bachelor, whenever I didn’t have a job and stayed at home while living in the USA, I always kept myself busy with something. I’ve never been a party person, I rarely drink alcohol, and I’ve never done drugs. Yeah, I may have smoked hashish a few times between 1975 and 1980 while in India. Besides that, I never got addicted to sex either. So, I always kept myself busy writing lyrics.
After buying my first desktop computer in, I think, 1997 or 1998, writing not only became easier, but I also started learning about many things happening around the world—things I had no idea about before. Writing became even easier because my first desktop, with a big 22-inch screen from Dell, came loaded with Microsoft Word. Thanks to that, spelling words correctly became easier. Otherwise, by that time, I had almost forgotten how to spell even the simplest words. I had started studying English from 6th grade, but still, I’m not 100% perfect in any language or dialect when it comes to speaking or writing. Still, it was enough to get certain types of jobs in India as wellas in the USA—especially the ones that didn’t require writing legal documents or language-wise 100% correct.
Besides this if you’re not writing daily, spelling English words can be confusing. For example, “studying” and “studding” may sound similar, but their spellings are completely different. And there are many other words like that. But once I had a spell checker handy and started writing more frequently, choosing the right word wasn’t very difficult. And if I was still unsure, hey—just look up the meaning on the World Wide Web or in microsoft word.
After having this option handy, I started writing lyrics in English too, I didn’t know many rhymes to match with the words. So, I bought a small rhyme book from a shop—or as they say in the USA, a “store.” Hello! And slowly, I felt that whatever I was writing—even in very simple English—wasn’t that bad. Then I went to the offices of a few publishers in Manhattan, New York, USA, hoping to get an advance. Forget about the advance—they didn’t even let me into their offices without a lawyer or manager.
Well, well, well—as always, I wasn’t ready to give up at any cost. And by 2007, including lyrics, all kinds of art and designs, and some parts of the book Journey of Life: Volume 1 according to me were ready too. At least, that’s what I thought.
